My Bedside Table, a still life

You know, this is almost more intimate than peeking into a drawerful of intimates. Does that make sense? Regardless, it moved me (in a good but emotional sort of way). I can't tell you why (not right now) but I'll figure it out eventually.

Hi Bean,

I hope it was intimate in a good way, not a creepy way. I really love my bedside table (when it is neat and organized, not piled with books and odds and ends!), and it makes me feel super relaxed and peaceful at the end of the day. :-)

Rest assured--it was intimate in a good-and-not-creepy kind of way! :)My tables are always stacked with books and pens and toys. :[ I am sure it makes our house look cluttered but I like seeing my favorite things wherever I look.

I hope you don't think I'm terribly messy. It's not that being messy is bad--it's just inaccurate for me. It's not a state of being--it's just a choice. That sometimes lasts for awhile.

I carry books with me to work even though I don't get to read them because they make me feel relaxed and peaceful.

Did you finish that book? Was it good?

Sometimes I get the word verifications wrong. I just can't tell. Trixy Blogger!Today's word is "contlym", which I though twas "conthym".
